Difference Between Resistant Dextrin and Resistant Starch

Dec 20, 2021

Resistant dextrin is made from regular corn or wheat starch. The process involves breaking down starch into dextrin at high temperature and then forming some anti-digestion glycosidic bonds during the repolymerization process, thereby producing stable dextrin. A stable dextrin product of high purity is then obtained through separation, purification and refining.
